| | Are We Fanning the Flames?June 17, 2011 - Jonay CorleyAre we fanning the flames of an old rivalry? It's not our intent. Several weeks ago it was brought to my attention that some of our avid online readers were not happy with the way our message boards were broken down. Those of you who are frequent users can attest that I quickly changed the names of the message board categories from SISTERSVILLE HAPPENINGS and TYLER COUNTY HAPPENINGS to represent the two cities within our county. My first thought, however, was to do away with the categories all together. I am willing to do this today, however, this action may also delete the threads that currently exist. It’s your call. But, to those of us who did not care..it was nice to be able to just go straight to Middlebourne to see what was happening and to go straight to Sistersville to see what was happening there. The ones who complained will probably complain that they will now have to sort through all the posts to see what is happening in their town. You can't always make everyone happy. ILuvTylerCoJun-20-11 12:07 AM why not create a new category for all of Tyler County to be used for new posts and leave the old stuff for anyone who wants to read old posts.
